Hi Marcia -
I believe that "spooze" as a repair medium was the invention of the late an=
d
much beloved Clayart member Peggy Heer, who passed away seven or eight year=
s
ago. It's equal parts by volume vinegar, corn syrup, and powdered claybody=
,
with additional powdered clay added to adjust the thickness to the
particular need. The addition of paper pulp, as you suggest, is a great
idea and would make it even more versatile and effective for some
applications.
