Hi everyone;
This is the was resist I use: Resisto Coat 39AF from Michelman Inc.
http://www.michelman.com/Products/Resisto-Coat/
It's wonderful. And I found it to be much better than the wax resist
from AFTOSA.
It dries in minutes. You won't have to wait 5 days. Or even an hour for
that matter. 2 to 5 minutes, tops. It resists INCREDIBLY well. I have no
problems wiping the bottom of my pots clean. It cleans off of brushes
with warm water relatively well. You can thin it with water by 1/3 when
using it on top of glaze to resist another glaze. (If you don't thin it,
it has a tendency to peel).=3D20
I love the stuff. I've tried all kinds of waxes, including paraffin. I
prefer this stuff. It's not cheap. Comes in a 5 gallon bucket, needless
to say it has lasted me 3 years and counting.
