as you said=3D2C 'This has gone from a simple product review to a discussio=

that is equal parts weird and fuzzy-headed=3D2C so I am going to bale now!'

=3D20

I agree=3D2C and I'll wait till another late night to ponder whether the fu=

y head was yours=3D2C mine=3D2C or the monkey's! (Smiles)

=3D20

And on thinking about the RK silence=3D2C my fingers would "hear" if my ear=
s =3D
were deprived.

=3D20

Take care=3D2C I enjoyed your writing

Just my late night thoughts and I respectfully acknowledge everyone is
entitled to their opinions=3D2C but isn't all that RK silence like riding a=
n
electric motorcycle=3D2C or making love in the dark wearing ear plugs and
mittens? (Spose that could be sorta kicky once just to chalk up a new
experience but......hummm...back to bed I go...been saving a new pair of
those big wooly car washing mittens for just such a night!!!)

When I throw=3D2C my whole being including all my senses are there=3D2C it'=

dance. I would lose touch with my partner in all that RK silence and
sensory deprivation.

David...

I never rode an electric motorcycle. As to your other analogy=3D2C a gentle=
ma=3D
n
never tells (and neither do I)!

A quiet wheel is far from being a form of sensory deprivation. The absence
of noise=3D2C and in particular the incessant drone of a 60 cycle hum=3D2C =
brin=3D
gs a
certain peace and allows for an "of the moment" total immersion in one's
thoughts and actions.

I fully appreciate the throaty V8 roar of my old Dodge Ram. Nothing quite
like feeling the shake and hearing the loping burble of a tall cam in a big
hunk of American iron at idle=3D2C or of tearing across the landscape to th=
e
symphonic howl of open windows=3D2C open exhaust=3D2C and Deep Purple's "Hi=
ghwa=3D
y
Star" blasting out of overstressed speakers. But one experiences a far
deeper and more peaceful connection to the landscape while gently sliding
through in silken silence. At first the silence is eerie=3D2C perhaps a bit
other-worldly=3D2C and you believe yourself cut off from the world. One soo=
n
realizes=3D2C however=3D2C that the background noise=3D2C far from connecti=
ng you=3D
to the
world=3D2C is rather nothing but distraction. While I am not a "new-age" or
spiritual person=3D2C I can still understand that one could more easily fin=
d
peace while meditating in the silence of a mountaintop or high desert than
amongst the clash and din of a construction site or factory floor. While
there is certainly nothing wrong with hot=3D2C screaming=3D2C monkey-love (=
unle=3D
ss
it's with an actual monkey)=3D2C you might give your earplugs and fuzzy mit=
te=3D
ns
a try some time. You just might like it. You never notice just when a
tooth ache goes away=3D2C you just notice that you feel really good.

I'm not going to touch the empty bowls bait.

This has gone from a simple product review to a discussion that is equal
parts weird and fuzzy-headed=3D2C so I am going to bale now!

Be well=3D2C my friend.

...James
