I use a Skutt add-on controller. I've had no problems with it.

Look around--there may be a brand by now that will give you kwhs used
per firing; my controller is old enough that the technology wasn't
available yet. (If you share the kiln, it will help you figure out
usage on your electric bill.)

specs (outlet to control a future exaust fan, serial plug for future comput=

er teathering, etc.)Saved quite a bit over the Orton unit and same warrenty=
