This actually does work. There are also plans for doing the same with a =3D
handled kitchen sieve (screen type).=3D20

I built the sieve type for a friend who was a little too far from our =3D
wireless access point and it worked like a charm; browsing, skype, =3D
everything.

I don't have the link any more but it's pretty simple

- Attach a usb extention cable to your usb wifi key
- Bind together 4 chopsticks with cello tape
- Bind the usb wifi key, cable and chopsticks to the handle of the wire =3D
sieve so that the usb wifi key is in the center of the circle formed by =3D
the ring of the sieve. I like to use pull ties.
- Plug the whole contraption into your PC.
- Point the thing at your nearest wifi access point.

Simple. It might be even more effective if you cover the sieve with =3D
aluminium foil.

The beauty of this is when you're raided by the internet police, you can =
=3D
pretend that you're making pasta. There are usb accessories for =3D
everything, a usb pasta strainer isn't so far fetched.

However, I think the parabolic reflector mentioned earlier would be more =
=3D
effective.
