Hello

Thank you for taking some time to look at my 1st book project.

*Potters of Japan* has been researched and written over the last five years=
=3D
.
I'm in need of help generating money to pay a printer. I'm self publishing
this book because it's not big enough for a publisher to do it.

The 1968 documentary film *Potters of Japan* by Richard and Marj Peeler
played a role in the development of my work as a potter.

*Today, Potters of Japan* is a book that reviews the nine pottery families.
It takes a look at the work of the potters in the film and a look at the
ceramic work of their children and grandchildren. I have followed the
original sequence and format of the film. Color photographs of their work,
kilns, and studios, tells the story. I have written an introduction and
information about pottery in Japan today.

Kickstarter is a chance for you to assist with printing this project.
Interviews are complete. Photographs have been taken. The book has been
typeset. Now, it=3D92s your chance to help continue to tell the story of th=

e
pottery families.

Kickstarter is a new way to fund ideas and endeavors. It is a funding
platform for artists, designers, filmmakers, musicians, journalists,
inventors, explorers and more. It is a unique all-or-nothing funding method
where projects must be fully-funded or no money changes hands.
