talked to steve tobin last week, and the party is a go.
i have looked at the schedule, and with the `randall session`
cancelled, it sure opens up a great thursday evening party at
steve's place.
he has an entire indoor tennis court, so dancing will be
in order. he will hire a band.
he is looking at hiring buses to transport friends from
the marriott downtown/clayart room to his home.
i am insisting that he not pay for everything...we will pass the
hat for those using the bus, and we will set out a sharing jar
at the party. just as it should be. you know, ten bucks in the jar.
(just volunteer money.)
he wants to make it the greatest nceca party that has
ever been. sort of an `art experience`.
he has an east indian catering service hired. it will be over the top draw=
er.
this is just one man, steve tobin, wanting to welcome folks to
philly. no strings attached. he wants artists and potters that work, not =
art
and pottery blabbers. he is hoping to have 300 or more. clayart friends
will be the starting point.
(he will blow up a great big pile of clay.) don't miss it.

Frank,
Just in time for Chinese New Year! We used to blow up empty cans and
dog poos with fire crackers - a typical cheeky activity during CNY for
youngsters - when we have loads of time and fire crackers.
Thanks for the link

Those forms are fantastic! Once they got into the water, they reminded =3D
me of Yellowstone and the movement of the Dragon's cauldron or some of =3D
the mud pots.
