Hi guys, how about organizing a porcelain chat in the clayart room in Phill=
y this year? We can share tips, techniques and answer each other's question=
s and maybe put a small display of works together.
If you're interested, let me know and give me some ideas of how we can arra=
nge ( or not arrange) it.
Thanks.

OK let;s talk.
I use porcelains because they are a challange.
I mixed up a batch of my old throwing teacher's stoneware a year or
so ago and I sometimes get a bag of it out to use. It is so easy to
use after working with porcelain that it is boring and I end up using
it up to make Orchid flower pots. There is a demand for those and I
need a few for my orchids too.
Porcelains, especially the most translucent ones like Southern Ice
are nasty critters and always put up a fight. I get about 75 percent
seconds or worse.

well.
Do you consider B-Mix a "porcelain alternative"?
I'll be happy to be your token man...
