Longer firing: I don't have a digital system and fire electric =3D20
bisque usually ^08 for ^10 gas using only a kiln sitter. As I often =3D2=
0=3D

fire thick student sculptures, I fire very slowly in the beginning, =3D20
but what kind of slower schedule are you suggesting after red heat? =3D20
And I'd like to get back to my original question which had to do with =3D20=
=3D

some glazes, in particular my chun, having some too large bubbles , =3D20
not pinholes, in the fired glaze. What to do about that? Someone had =3D2=
0=3D

suggested "too viscous glaze" another suggestion was "flouride gas in =3D20=
=3D

the cornwallstone. and substitute DF .. Can't find a supplier for DF =3D20
cornwall stone (deflourinated) although I am considering brushing my =3D20=
=3D

teeth with the non DF stuff....\

PS I don't have bloating problems in my gas firing,( though I do =3D20
sometimes in the wood kiln with unbisqued pieces, so perhaps my glaze =3D20=
=3D

bubble problem has nothing to do with my bisque, though it has been an =3D2=
0=3D

interesting thread.
