vote for the leach pottery

updated sat 6 mar 10

Steve Mills on tue 2 mar 10

Dear All,

Can I please beg you all to respond to Vince's plea and go to: *
www.artfundprize.org.uk* and vote for the *Leach Pottery*.
It is neck and neck with *Blists Hill Victorian Town* who obviously have an
organised voting crew behind them.
WE NEED TO DO THE SAME!
Currently these two are way out in front of *all* the other contenders, but
Blists Hill are *just* in the lead!!!!!!!

PLEASE get your voting boots on and show the power of Clayarters. It'll tak=
e
less than a minute to do and it means SO much.

TIA

There is an asterisk in the URL that prevents it from working. This will
work www.artfundprize.org.uk Leach is at 29% and Blists is at 32%.

Again, even though it has been mentioned several times, PLEASE take just a
few minutes and go to http://www.artfundprize.org.uk/2010/vote/. It is a
very quick process. This is such a worthwhile endeavor, and if a large
percentage of Clayart members vote for the Leach Pottery, it could make the
difference. The Art Fund Prize would mean so much to them.

Well, Leach Pottery has slipped back to 28 percent behind the other
competitor's 34 percent. But I would imagine if each potter voted,
Leach pottery would win. Apparently, this is a competition among all
sorts of different types of museums and exhibitions -- not just
potters. I have not been following the thread. Clayart's votes alone
could push Leach Pottery into the forefront of this competition to win a
prize. It would be nice for a place from the ceramic arts to win.

I'm off for coffee now

I voted for them...

Probably though the scale of the demographic who may vote, is vastly larger
than the membership of Clayart, for us to sway the matter much...even if we
all voted.
