Gina,

I built a kiln for Janet Lever Wood in Santa Cruz several years ago. I
had her order K-23 3" thick insulating firebrick from Seattle Pottery
Supply. She saved $1200 by purchasing the brick from SPS and that
included freight. You may want to check with Jim Lunz at SPS for prices
in today's market. SPS number is 1-800- 522-1975. Ask to speak with
Jim (owner of SPS)
