glaze questions in clayart room?

hi, again, everyone.

i'm struggling with 2 cone 6 ox glazes
- fuzz matte yellow
- textured blue

not that the names help much!

they are both from old recipes that are lost.

i've make a few small test tiles of each.

i'd love to hand them out to some cone 6 gurus & see what they think.

but i worry about being out & about & missing my golden opportunity.

so... maybe there will be a place where i can leave them, with my info,
in case anyone has any great ideas?

if there are smarter approaches to my quest, please let me know.

looking forward to seeing everyone!

As I understand your inquiry, you will bring fired glaze tests with no
recipe and hope that a glaze guru can supply a recipe to get a result the
same as the tests?
Gonna be a tough one. With the recipes, we could enter them into a glaze
calc program, find substitutes for materials that may no longer be availabl=
e
and let you know if they are stable glazes. Without the recipes, unless
somebody has the glaze with same name from same source, it may be impossibl=
e
to get an exact match.

I note in the archives, July 30, 2009 a question about fuzz mat yellow, and
then included in their recipe list if you join, the recipe for textured
blue:

All I did was put the recipe names in a Google search...
