Is there a way that those of us who are unable to be in the clayart room fr=
iday night, can still participate?
Maybe a side table of bagged mugs for folks who want to exchange, but can't=
be there to meet and greet their trade-mates afterward?
Or will the clayart room be closed down after friday night?
I hate to think I/we/potters council folks can't leave their mugs in the cl=
ayart room and take part in the exchange in some capacity. Any ideas about =
a compromise, or an "absentee" exchange?

Nice idea, but sadly it doesn't always work; for example, I missed the mug
exchange last year, and mine was put to one side by the organisers.
Alas when I came to get it we found an empty bag and no mug!!
But thanks to Jon Singer's great generosity I did not go away empty handed.
Bless him.
