Greetings, all...

I finally finished my redesigned website. A MAJOR project! If anyone
cares to take a look, I would very much appreciate comments,
critiques, suggestions, notice of typos, broken links, etc.
www.jamesfreemanstudio.com

I know there is an issue with aliasing, and perhaps a bit of dithering
with some of the images in the flash galleries. These galleries will
also likely be a problem for those on dial-up, as they load as one big
file. I will be correcting both of these issues in the future, but
for now just gave up.

I tested the site in both Firefox and Internet Explorer, and
everything seems to look right. I would really appreciate feedback
from those who use Apple browsers or Google Chrome, or even Opera, as
I had no way to test the site on any of those browsers. I stayed with
an 780 pixel screen width, so no one should have to scroll
horizontally. I am also already aware that the site is a bit screwed
up when viewed on a blackberry phone, but then again, so are most
sites.

I am also curious as to whether you find the navigation logical, your
thoughts on the layout, and your thoughts on whether there is too much
or too little content.

My old Clayart page, where one could find various useful tools and
downloads, is now called "Resources". It has been cleaned up and
filled out a bit, so feel free to poke around. If you have useful
ceramics related files you would like to share with clayart and
others, I would be happy to link to them on your site or upload them
to my site.

Thanks in advance for your input.

All the best.

...James

Hi James,

I totally LOVE the way your images move toward the viewer and enlarge.
Very, extremely, cool.

Your work, and the presentation, both superb. Thanks.

Hello James;

Very nice. The navigation is very clear. I like the location on the
lower right hand corner. Your gold logo on your banner is a bit blurry
and lack on contrast on a cheap PC monitor (both IE and Firefox) Now
I'm on a Mac big screen and it looks fine on Safari and Firefox. Your
site also looks good on an Iphone as well.

Your clear crisp whiter and bigger "James Freeman Studio" is louder
than your golden stylised logo on your banner. I don't know if you
would prefer that. My eyes are jumping a little bit, and not sure
where to look first.

I love your driveway gate, BTW

Regards
May
