I have a kiln load ready to bisque of cups and catchment dishes. One vase =

had not intended to use crystalline glaze on when I threw it so I want to
try your sawdust and clay disk. What proportion of saw dust to clay? How
thick is the disk? About an inch? And do you bisque fire the disks before
gluing to the bisque piece? I'm assuming the disk must be the same size as
the foot of the piece.
Thanks for the help. The vase is not critical, the cups are as I need at
least two to take to NCECA.
