the hotel will have the clayart room open on tuesday.
it is not in use anyway.
it is like a mezzanine, above the main lobby.
jean can set up her show on monday. `THE BEST OF STRICTLY FUNCTIONAL`
and, the hotel will set up tables along their main hallway
for pottery displays.
make sure you bring fabric and some blocks to set pots
on...something interesting.
and, folks can set up pots on tables in the clayart room.
and mugs.
fuss a bit. be classy. make a name card/one or two pots...not a 40 pot
solo show. no twenty inch letters...~WALLY'S POTS/ set up and take
down will be your responsibility, pots left
will be given away or thrown out. anything stolen or broken will be just
`sorry`. the hotel and clayart will not be paying you for
stuff...don't display
a hamada. ANYTHING LEFT IN THE CLAYART ROOM WILL GO INTO THE TRASH.
DO NOT BRING BOOZE OR LOTS OF FOOD INTO THE CLAYART ROOM... THE HOTEL
WILL HAVE A FIT. some candy or treats will be ok.
i will get there about noon on tuesday.
i leave saturday morning, early a.m.
i am going to have maurice room with me...he deserves a break
in the action. he has been a great clayart support.
if tony has bad digs, he can set up a rollaway in my room. rent free.
things are falling into place.
my health and recovery are going very well. all should be past/healed
by saturday. there is more of an emotional stress than physical.
when people start burning things/nerves off your heart...well, it does lead
to wonder. i do feel fine however. it was a blazing success.
joyce has clayart and will run things past nceca time.
i will have a few copies of the book for folks to critique, and we
will have copies of the dvd for you to look at.
gail is working on the new website with pay pal...and she is swearing
at godaddy today. but, that too, wiilllllpass. takes a few days to get the
bugs whacked dead.
i use a big ridatick patch.
folks will be able to order the book from the website as soon as it
is up and running well. we have a button to lead you to pay pal
and you can use your credit card to order, or use your pay pal account.
( i can also takes orders.)
so, it is all coming together...but, it has not been easy..then all the
heart `*(^` in the middle of this...but, we are going to be fine.
not whinnning.

Thanks for the final roundup, Mel, and the location of the Clayart Room.
Good to hear that it will be open on Tuesday, so we can get a chance to
reconnect.
I am so happy to hear that all went smoothly, that you are recovering well,
and that the stress was more emotional than physical. Looking forward to
seeing you hale and hearty, but will treat you with gentleness, however, ho=
pe
to get a nice bear hug.
Thanks for everything.
