For those of you who do not yet have a small angle-grinder for all those
studio grinding tasks (kiln shelves, tools, fingernails, teeth, etc.)
amazon.com is selling a 4.5" Makita for $57, which is a very good price.
No, this is not an April Fools gag except for the part about the fingernail=
s
and teeth. Just go to

pd_sxp_f_pt, or if the link doesn't work, go to amazon.com and enter "Makit=
a
9557PB 4-1/2-Inch Angle Grinder with Paddle Switch."
The first 4.5" angle grinder I ever bought was a Makita, purchased used at
the old Mad River Flea Market in Arcata, CA around 1980. It's still going
strong, and I cannot see how it has deteriorated in any way in the
intervening thirty years.
