Does anyone know (Vince ??) the actual name of the "eye bolt type of
thingy" that the slide bar for the clay tamper rides on.=3DA0=3DA0
There are two of these on the pugmill, and I am pretty sure they were
probably off the shelf parts, but I have not been able to find them.
Bonus question: does anyone know where to get that exact part?
Thanks in advance for any answers. In searching I found that
people had asked if there was an exploded parts list, but never saw a
positive response.=3D20

Jim

Hi Wayne,

As Joni said, I should have posted a picture, I will tonight when I get t=
=3D
o
the studio.=3DA0 The part on my pugmill would perhaps be called an Eye
nut. It is forged, but then tapped to take a short bolt. I guess they
probably used several variations....
I Just don't see my
variety at the store you mentioned.

Jim

Jim:
(raising hand, waving frantically "I know, I know!")
Those are indeed called "eye bolts", come in either a stamped version
or a stronger "forged" version (which is what I have on my Walker),
and are truly an off-the-shelf part.
You can get them here:
http://www.boltdepot.com/eye-bolts-and-eye-lags.aspx
No connection with the company, but they are great to order from
and their prices usually beat everyone else. I'm a satisfied customer.
Best,
Wayne Seidl

Hi Jim,
Google for "eye nuts" instead of "eye bolts".
