I would like to use some of Jeremy Jernegan's dry glaze recipes. A number=

them contain EP Kaolin. Could anyone please advise me what I might use as=

I've used tile-6 kaolin, gorgia kaolin and I've used grollig as a sub
for EPK, but the grollig seems to have a lower melting point. With all
of these, test, test, test.

Hi Dave,
I have tested many of the recipes in Jeremy Jernegan's book and just used=
=3D
=3D20
the Kaolin (one kind only over here, I live in Switzerland) available to =
=3D
me with=3D20
no problem.=3D20

Hi Dave,
Most Kaolins are very close - EPK is a plastic kaolin and may suspend
better than others is all.
I assume you will be close enough using a UK kaolin such as Grolleg.
If you want to send me the recipe I will calculate any changes that
may be needed - I have the analysis for grolleg but if you have
another kind of kaolin send me the analysis for it and I will use it.
