My feeling is that a beautiful old Korean rice bowl can be a rice bowl
for a farmer (Objective) or a treasured work of art (Subjective) to a
Japanese tea master.Same item but different attitude. A painting of an
apple on a table can be an accurate representation of an apple on a table
(objective) AND an expression of a deep emotional angst(subjective).
The beauty in art is that a humble rice bowl can express deep ideas (and
still hold rice !).
