Someone recently asked about burners. I have used the same burners
since 1968. I have used them on both Propane and natural gas. The
burner Company name is Pyronics INC. The burner I use on gas kilns is
the 80 ET (elbow type) rather than a straight burner as they take up
more room. I don't think the pictures I have attached will go thru
Clayart. These are natural draft burners with adjustable brass petcock
and orifice. They are a medium pressure and probably cost $150 each .
I have 6 of them on a 50 cubic foot kiln and 4 on another kiln of the
same size. Both kilns=3D20

Fire themselves. The 6 burner kiln is so quiet it's hard to hear if they
are on. The picture of the 80 straight style is (was ) on Dave
Shaners kiln in Montana. I can't tell you how great these burners
are!!!
