Since a line from a recent post of mine was quoted in the above message, I
thought I should clarify what I meant.
I wasn't referring to subjectivity and objectivity in "art," only in reference
to the definition of a "gallery," albeit one that sells craft (or art,
depending on where you come down on that discussion). I only meant that I
doubted that there was some definition such as "a gallery is 1200 sq. feet and
carries objects priced at $500 a piece or more displayed on individually
lighted glass columns." I was trying to indicate that I assumed "gallery"
meant different things to different people, but I was still interested in what
those things might be.
