I have to go to St. Louis, more specifically Chesterfield, and will have
most of a day to kill. Any suggestions for good galleries and such to
visit? I've been to Craft Alliance and the City Museum, both of which were
great. Searching google maps turned up a few names, but that seems like
such a crap-shoot. Looking for something a bit more challenging than the
butterfly house and the Bigfoot store!
Thanks for any direction you can provide.

The Duane Reed Gallery usually has good stuff to see including some
ceramics. They are located on one of the east-west cross streets just east
of Euclid in the Central West End. Have you been to the St. Louis Art
Museum? It's one of the really good ones. I am hoping that by now they
have re-opened the Mesoamerican collection in the basement. It is one of
the best in North America.
