Even though I wet mop all the time and wipe counter tops, etc, there is
still a lot of dust in my studio. I am kind of sensitive to it and I can
just 'tell' when I walk into in there if it is particularly dusty or
not. Of course I have no idea how much of it is free silica dust but I
had to do something because I am almost always in there 6 days/week and
have been for several years.
So, for $1000 I got the following unit, along with an accessory
pre-filter that filters out the course dust particles so that the main
HEPA filter does not get clogged prematurely. This unit filters down to
.003 microns so I know it is fine enough.
Anyway, I am not sure if anyone cares but here is a link:
I don't mix clay in the studio (that is done on the driveway) - if I did
that I would something more like the larger one Bailey sells. But I
think this one is just right for the garage I work in.
