Time to get your entries created for the
2nd Annual Potters Council Show for
NCECA 2011 in Tampa, Florida.
Our theme is 'The Shoulders We Stand On",
paying homage to our influences in pottery.
Now is the time to give a pat on the back to
the teachers, potters, mentors, or cultures that
have shaped your vision.
These influences do not need to have a huge
flashing sign on them ... you can simply be saying
that without this certain thing your work would not
be what it is.
For you it might be discovering a shino, or mastering
a thrown shape, or learning how to make stamps or how
to use slips or how to fire for predictable results.
It can be a person or an entire culture ... it
could be anything from entomology to the
solar system .... and everything in between.
We have a fabulous host gallery and a large space
to showcase your work in.
So don't be shy ... don't wait til the last minute!
