It is amazing to me that we can ship clay anywhere in the 48
states,
Alaska and Hawaii for the same $10.20 shipping price.
Added to the cost of the two 19 lb pugs ($9.50) the total
cost is
just $19.70
visit: http://www.wendtpottery.com/pugmill.htm
to learn more about the process I use to make my studio
clay.

Hello Clayart members I am in need of your assistance.
I am moving to Hawaii, to the big island, Kailua-Kona area.
Could anyone please give me some guidance on where and how
to find clay on
the Hawaiian Isles?
I have noticed other Clayart members that live in Hawaii,
how do you obtain
your clay?
Who are the best suppliers for Hawaii?
Thank you for any assistance you can give me.

When I lived on the Big Island 20 years ago, the Hawaiians
believed that the goddess Pele became angry at anyone who
removed soil, sand, or rocks from the island. The belief was
so engrained that even outsiders accepted it.
