glazing big pieces; the power of sprayer

Sorry, Maurice (who asked me to stick to existing subject lines--for =3D
very good and logical reasons!)

Once upon a time, before most of you were born, there was a thing =3D
called A Flit Gun. Flit was an insecticide, and there is lots of =3D
interesting stuff about it on the Internet.....There still are "Flit =3D
guns" and equivalents out there. There are all sorts of garden =3D
sprayers. Of course compressors are fun, and have many uses, and all =3D
that...and are particularly endearing when you forget to turn them =3D
off/unplug the cord, and they start charging up in the middle of the =3D
night! That thump thump bang thump thump bang is a real 3:00AM treat!

There have been all sort of articles etc about home spray booths. One =3D
can rig something up with a shower curtain, or use a great big cardboard =
=3D
box in which a fridge might have been shipped; or an old shower stall. =
=3D
If you are working outdoors you need a good windbreaker. "windbreaker" =
=3D
applies both for spray booth and you....You still need a mask, safety =3D
goggles, and, as far as I am concerned a hoodie or similar to cover your =
=3D
head, and clothes you can ditch and wash when you have finished. =3D20

I expect a good garden supply house, or the internet will tell you of a =3D
sprayer that can spray a liquid like glaze. Or, if you have such a =3D
sprayer around, test it with just some plain clay slip thinned to what =3D
your glaze would be like.

Again--as with general advice--lettuce know what gives.
