The Legacy Oral History Program is holding its sixteenth annual oral histor=
y workshop August 5-7, 2010.
Drawing upon references and examples from performing arts,the workshop is a=
ppropriate for individuals of all levels of experience in oral history. Dra=
wing upon references and examples from the performing arts, it provides par=
ticipants with the skills to compete their own oral history projects, in a =
lecture/discussion format with opportunities to apply presented material.
The workshop covers:
* legal and ethical issues,
* project design,
* funding,
* audio and visual technology,
* interviewing,
* transcription
* and editing to produce research-quality final products
