I've been following the wide ranging discussion on this topic and have =3D
the following to offer:

In Optician school, at the end of the course work, they have a special =3D
class in pricing that goes like this: the customer is in the chair, and =3D
has been fitted with the glasses, and as the customer is admiring the =3D
new glasses in the mirror, you say: "That will be $100.00". If the =3D
customer doesn't flinch, you say: "For the frames. The lenses will be =3D
another $100.00" If the customer doesn't flinch, you say: "Each."

And the Taxman. Jean has always kept us super ethical. In Japan,
there is a huge underground cash economy, because they don't use
checks and haven't used credit cards much until recently. Folks
thought that cash paid for classes should not be reported, because
that is what many people do. But Jean always accounts for everything.

It is tough, when you hear about corporations like Exxon making
billions and paying Zero in taxes. People worry about pennies to
unemployed folks while mega-corps go without paying the billions they
should, if they played by the same rules.

Steve=3D2C distressing me more is what do I tell myself about myself if I =
we=3D
re to take that extra bill from the client!

=3D20

For onward of five years I had an older client who always slipped an extra =
=3D
$50 dollar bill into the several 100 dollar bills each time she paid me. =
=3D
I always caught and returned the "mistake(s)" and I am sure that she was a =
=3D
return customer because I passed her "TEST" that first time.
