There is a product called "Iron Out" made just for removing iron
stains from various materials. We live in the Red Hills of Dundee
which means we have a lot of iron in our soil, enough to make the
dirt reddish, and when you have trouble with the pump or well, you
often get a lot of iron in the water pipes. I washed a whole load of
white clothes once after a power outage and they all came our
terra cotta colored. Soaked them in a big tub with "Iron Out" and=3D20
all but a few pieces came out white again.=3D20
