This course in basic ceramic chemistry is designed for potters who want t=

become better acquainted with the materials used in ceramics, their origi=
=3D
ns
and uses in high-fire, mid-range and low fire glazes. We will briefly cov=
=3D
er
oxides and their sources, the Seger Unity Molecular formula, and will mix=
=3D
and test glaze recipes on test tiles. Some experience with ceramics is
preferred.
