How would I go about formulating a glaze that breaks nicely on edges?
I fire mainly to ^6 in an electric kiln.
I list some ingredients that are not available to me.
Gerstley Borate ( I can get Colemanite but it behaves so badly, I
prefer not to use it)
EPK ( unless that is just a very white kaolin)
Volcanic ash
Strontium Carbonate.
Feldspars with particular names eg. Custer spar.
Any help would be much appreciated.
