West Virginia University is hosting another trip to China this
summer. Professor Bob Anderson and the rest of the group will be
departing on May 27 for a six week study and travel program to the
mother of all ceramic vacation spots. If I tried to type all of the
exciting and interesting facets of this six week trip in this post the
Bandwidth Conservation Society would crack down on me hard. It is an
extraordinary opportunity to visit the Chinese mainland and explore
thousands of years of uninterrupted ceramic tradition and knowledge.
But don't take my word for it, dig out your November '96 Ceramics
Monthly, turn to page 46, and see what Jack Troy thought of WVU's
Summer of '96 trip to China. This may sound like shameless self
promotion, but we really just wanted to get the word out about this
