You don't say what you're using, but Googling:
"The URL is not valid and cannot be loaded"
will find you lots of company, using various browsers and operating systems=
.

There are two websites I need to log onto and can connect to neither.
When I type in the URL I get a message "The URL is not valid and cannot
be loaded" After a domain name IP address lookup - I can type the IP
address for the same domain and I get the same message -"The URL is not
valid and cannot be loaded". I know both these websites are working
websites, as others are logging on regularly, but I cannot connect.
Anyone have any ideas what this is about. Here they are:

Hi John,
I did a little checking and it looks like Google's tool bar is the
culprit in most cases. Go to TOOLS, ADD-ONS...and disable Google
toolbar and see if that helps..
