eop gave me was a bit stiff so I scraped it up with some fresh and added a =

bit of water and mixed it back to a working consistency so I could reset th=

e four bricks at the top of the arch. This stuff is supposed to be for use =

in excess of 2000=3DB0F but I don't think it is gonna take 2500=3DB0F so I =
sift=3D
ed in some alumina hydrate to see what happens. The final rather thin wedge=
=3D
shaped gap for the keystone and the voids around the bricks got filled wit=
=3D
h castable as described in the photos. =3D0A=3D0A Some of the original kaol=
in/f=3D
ireclay/grog lag used in the wall of the Bourry shrank but did not fuse and=
=3D
is coming out so I might use up some of the Heat Stop with powdered lag to=
=3D
fill those small gaps as tuck pointing and ram it in with a paint stick. T=
=3D
his surface really doesn't get that hot and I don't plan on messing with it=
=3D
for a while after we get the Pignose and new front Bourry wall rebuilt so =
=3D
might as well fill them now and see what happens. I want to move on and get=
=3D
this brick work done so I can finish putting up fuel for another firing an=
=3D
d get ready for brush season. Christmas is right around the corner so stay =
=3D
