Hello,

if anyone else is interested in looking for classes, here is a summary of
the information I have received about classes in Chicago and burbs:

Check out your nearest community college, e.g. Harper College in Schaumburg
(Cook County) and look for Sam Rosby's class. Also College of Lake County
in Grayslake and College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn.

Jill Grau in Antioch 847-838-9949 (Used to teach at Harper College)

Kaledeiscope (Art School) in Barrington 847-381-4840

The Evanston Art Center in the Chicago area 847-475-5300

Ceramic classes and studios at every level from complete beginners to
professionals are available at Lill St. Studios, 1021 W. Lill Ave., Chicago.
That's about 3200 north.

Great Lakes Clay & Supply Co., Carpentersville. Often have classes in
McHenry County. Their website is http://www.greatclay.com and email is
greatclay@greatclay.com. 847-551-1070 They even have had interesting
people such as Robin Hopper & Robert Piepenburg.
