Hi all..........

Wanted to let everyone know that there are two great ceramics shows opening=
=3D
today here in New Hampshire for anyone that is in the general area. Both =
=3D
will be running until December 5th.

The first of these is the ceramic faculty's "6x6" in which each of the six =
=3D
BFA ceramics faculty invited six artists to show. Because of my somewhat h=
=3D
eavy influence from and connections to Japan and many Japanese ceramists, I=
=3D
selected HAMADA Tomoo-san, KANZAKI Shiho-san, MATSUMIYA Ryouji-san, OGAWA =
=3D
Hirohisa-san, SHIMADA Fumio-san, and TSUJI Shigetoshi-san to exhibit. Each=
=3D
has very kindly shipped over a really nice piece for the show. =3D20

The second exhibition is a solo show by well known Massachusetts artist Mar=
=3D
k Shapiro. And on the evening of November 17th after the reception, Mark w=
=3D
ill present an open to the public lecture on the "History of American Ceram=
=3D
ics".

Receptions for both exhibitions are on the afternoon of Nov. 17th from 5-7=
=3D
PM.

Hope to meet some CLAYART folks at the openings and the lecture. Please sa=
=3D
y "hi".

best,
