My son Alan and I taped it last summer and he's been working with the folks
at CAD since then to produce and publish it. It's a two-disc DVD that
covers basic cylinders and bowls and then moves into more complex projects.
We had a great time filming it and I am quite pleased with the way it came
out. I enjoy sharing what I know about making pots, so a video seemed like
a logical way to expand my reach. (Plus I really enjoyed getting to spend =
a
week with Alan, who lives in Brooklyn these days and doesn't often get the
chance to spend that much time back in what her refers to as "the old
country.")

video. The third -- the one on tools made from credit cards -- was done as
an entry to a video contest on homemade tools.
