Dear Kim;

I used to use a lo-fire talc body as a white background for a glaze with =
=3D
various oxides washed over that glaze. My favorite was weak cobalt =3D
washed over the glaze with the yalc body under it. the combination =3D
yielded lovely lavender and pink hues in reduction, while the =3D
cobalt/glaze combo was blue where there was no talc body under it.

I used the same idea when at Anderson Ranch I did a lot of decal work, =3D
layering oxides onto decal paper with a clear lacquer overprint to hold =3D
the image together. in that case, I mixed the cobalt with talc 1 to 3.
