For those interested in the book that Ron Scudder was talking about, it's
called
"Architectural Terra Cotta of Gladding McBean"

I was in the Lincoln Arts bldg. (in the town Gladding McBean is located) a
couple of weeks ago, and they said that the book is now out of print, but
you may be able to locate a copy. It is wonderfull!
Note: Gladding McBean is host to "Feats of Clay", a national competition.
The exhibit is located inside the Gladding McBean bldg (with tours during
the exhibit). Some of the art is placed inside their giant beehive kilns.
What an experience!
