Have you looked into clear polycarbonate undulating longitudinally
sheets start 8' long by more than 2' wide sections ? They can be
screwed about the perimeter of your area then removed in warm weather
and stored stacked using little space and create a greenhouse of your
porch and sections left void if more ventilation needed.They are
robust and do not crack like fiberglass and are clear or smoke and as
a top can be walked upon. Both Lowes and
Home Depot here carry them here and I have used them as the roof
for my patio now 15 years with no problems.
