cone 6 red tests

Hi John and Clayart,
I can't wait to see how you've done too. My first test firing was
spectacular - all 8 glazes I tested were pretty solid. The best (in my
subjective eye) was the Bailey's Red Orange. I did have it too thick and it
ran onto the shelf, but the colors and crystal growth were wild. I hope it
doesn't change much when I thin it a little. Testing now.
I'm also testing a glaze that I mixed following Mel's advice. The first pas=
s
rendered a nice red iron but it was a little thin and plain.
My pics will be going up in a couple days, as soon as I finish a couple
orders.
Best to all,
Larry Kruzan
