I bought a bunch of pots on a trip to Minnesota a couple of years ago,
so many that I had to ship them back to Baltimore via UPS. They were
packed very well, insured, and marked "fragile,", but a few broke anyway
(including one of my favorite Warren MacKenzie bowls -- Ouch!). UPS
agreed to pay very readily because the total value of the loss was under
a certain amount ($40 or $50 I believe). They later lost my paperwork
and payment was delayed, but ultimately they coughed it up.
