Like Stephani I've had a positive result of web sales. Most of my sales =3D
come from people who have already bought my work. They know the work, =3D
they like it, they just want some more of it. Because I do lots of =3D
wholesale I'm already set up for packing and shipping. I make lots of =3D
items that aren't on the site but a quick description from the customer =3D
is all I need to fulfill their needs. Selling to people who've never =3D
seen your work off of a web site is difficult. Some can do it, =3D
especially if you are in a niche market like Stephani. For me, having a =3D
web site with common production pieces and prices has been very =3D
beneficial. I've had more web sales this year than ever. The fall was =3D
especially heavy to the point that I had to cut off sale by the first =3D
week of November. But, it's only one piece of the puzzle. I think in =3D
today's economy we have to look for every way possible to get our work =3D
seen and sold.
