Let's not end this discussion without mentioning the fine
mixer/burners from Eclipse in Rockford, Il. They come regular for low
pressure propane and natural gas; and with a brass extension for high
pressure propane. I have found that these mixers and a ball valve, a
very wide range of turn down can be accomplished, and with Sticktite
flame retention tips...... no burn back..... ever. Just to round it
out..... also cheek out Barber brass pilot burners!
