Stephen Mills points out that Phil Rogers book shows a good series of
illustrations on handling pulling. I agree. Mr. Rogers is quite
accomplished, a good teacher, and he is also a fairly large person. He has
hands that could excite envy in a basketball player. If you are having
trouble satisfactorily reproducing his techniques, it could be that. For
example, he is able to pull very wide strap handles that I just don t seem to
have enough finger length (or years of practice) to manage. It doesn t
diminish the book, you just have to adapt, which you would anyway.
