Interesting, and looks a lot better run than the factory I worked in, in
1998. However, note the speed of most of the workers- this isn't just skill=
=3D
,
they will be on piecework. We had to make the minimum wage on *every*
item/task not average across your production. Also if you got too good on a=
=3D
n
item, the rate would be adjusted down. The mimimum wage is now =3DA35.85 p=
h,=3D
I
think, if you are 22 or over. Many workers will have variable hours/very
short contracts.,
So it isn't as rosy as it looks, but I have no doubt that if Emma
Bridgewater is willing to put this on their website, they will be better
than many.
