Mel has it all wrong (again). NEVER score the area for attaching
handles or anything else. Just dip your finger (doesn't matter which =3D
one)
in some water and smear the area where you want the handle. This will
(techterm) flocculate the surface particles and they will stick to the=3D20
handle perfectly. The combination of water, finger rubbing does the =3D
trick.
Rub until it feels sticky. I just did 151 mugs and they had no =3D
cracks--nadda!
