For anyone who needs a really heavy-duty angle grinder for shelf and
refractory grinding on salt and wood firing, or other similar applications,
amazon currently has the famous Milwaukee 7"-9" angle grinder for $129, and
it normally lists for around $275, so this is less than half-price. This
grinder is way overkill for anyone who just needs to clean kiln shelves, bu=

for heavy grinding tasks with a large silicon carbide or diamond cup wheel,
this is just the ticket. And for those doing serious welding/fabricating o=

Humboldt State University in 1969-1971, this grinder (the earlier
all-aluminum-body model) was the only kind of angle grinder we used. Just
go to www.amazon.com and enter "Milwaukee 6088-30 7-Inch/9-Inch Large Angle
Grinder" in the search box.
