COPPRclay(tm) is much like it's predecessor PMC (Precious Metal Clay) it
contains 99.9% precious metal ( gold, silver, bronze, etc...) combined
with a binder that allows it to be pinched, rolled, sculpted, cut or
manipulated any way you like. It is then fired in a kiln and the binder
burns away, leaving a solid, pure copper object. Create jewelry, jewelry
components, small sculptures or custom-crafted specialized tools. You
can even practice new techniques or design ideas using COPPRclay(tm),
then apply your new skills to more precious metals. And because
COPPRclay(tm) is pure copper, it's great for artists who enjoy applying
enamels.

Join us as resident artist Alfredo Ratinoff shares his wealth of
knowledge in working with this new material. Alfredo will cover all
aspects of using COPPRclay(tm) including forming, firing and finishing
pieces. He will also discuss applications in using a variety of patinas
and touch on the possibilities of working with enamels on the copper. =3D20
